New Sport Clip (Model 9491101) gives you the option for drill-free installation of SE Sport hydrofoils. Now, there’s no need to drill holes in the cavitation plate! The Sport Clip fits most outboards and stern drives 25hp and larger and it includes all required hardware.
SE Sport hydrofoils boost fuel efficiency, get you on a plane up to 50% faster, and enable you to remain on a plane at much lower speeds. With the patented features of Turbo Trac and thrust catching contoured surface, SE Sport hydrofoil users experience a whole new level of control. Rated the fastest foil in its class by independent testing, the narrow footprint and modified hydrofoil shape does not adversely affect trim at planning speeds which means you get maximum top end performance and excellent hole shot. SE Sport 200 is recommended for outboards from 8 to 40hp and it also fits many larger engines. SE Sport 300 is recommended for outboards and stern drives (including Volvo) from 40 to 350hp. Just installed this, along with the SE Sport 300 Hydrofoil, on a '96 Force 120 motor on a '96 Bayliner (17ft). The sport clip and hydrofoil only took about 20 minutes to install, and I took my time. Make sure to watch the installation video on YouTube, it makes things more clear than the supplied instructions. The sport clip is incredibly secure, so if anyone ever says that their's fell off, then they definately did not install it right.

I fought ten foot seas for 4 1/2 hours the other day, and my hydrofoil clip held strong. I had kelp getting hung up on it and it bucked it off and held firm.

Went for a couple boat rides and didn't have any problems what so ever! The hydrofoil is a MUST!!!

Bolts have to be tightened often. If they losen you will lose your Hydrofoil like I did.
